Alcohol & Drug Counseling
Are you concerned about your own or someone else’s use of alcohol or other drugs?
The Summit County Public Health Counseling Program is available to all citizens of
Summit County, ages 12 and up.
Assessment is the first step and can be arranged by a phone call to (330) 375-2984. After the assessment, depending on the client’s need, there can be referral to any of the following:

- A one-time education group
- Individual counseling
- A once-a-week counseling group
- Intensive Outpatient Program (3 hours, 3 days per week)
There are separate programs for adolescents and for adults. Urine drug screening is available for our clients. Services are available 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday.
Evening hours are also available on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Fees are based on your income, on a sliding fee scale. Insurance is accepted – we can bill for you.
